2. Enter the Components
Once you have typed in this information, the cursor will jump to the middle of the screen to allow you to enter the SKU numbers of the stones and findings that you are components of the new piece. Remember, you can enter a SKU number for labor if you have created a major class code for labor.
If you want to describe a component of the finished piece but do not want to take the component out of the inventory file, see the Describing Components section on page .)

To edit any of the lines of detail that you have already entered, get to the SKU number prompt at the first blank line and type the @ sign and the line number that you want to edit. e.g. if you wanted to edit line 2 you would type @2 then press <Enter> twice. Pressing <↑> also allows editing of the previous line. If you want to change the cost value of any component (for example, if you used a dummy SKU number to describe a component, but you know the cost value of the actual component used), edit the line as describe above, and then press left arrow <←> when the desired line is highlighted.

Then you will be prompted for the cost of that component.
To disassemble a piece, edit the line of the component that you want to remove and change the quantity to zero. This also allows you to increase the stock level of the component that you are removing.
