Repricing Individual Inventory Items
If you want to reprice many items at the same time, see this help topic: Reprice Many Inventory Items
You can reprice an individual inventory item from the Inventory Status screen. In addition to changing the price, the same steps here can be used for changing the wholesale cost value.
Locate an item, unlock the padlock if needed,
and type the new price. Note that you will be asked for an explanation and this will be added to the adjustments history of that item.
It's quite possible to have several different Sku numbers for items having the same vendor and style number, because you may have reordered items of the same style at different times.
If you change the price of a Sku number which is one of several Sku's having the same vendor and style number, then you will be asked whether you want to change the price of all the Sku's which share that style number. If the items are essentially identical and interchangeable, you'd want to reprice them all, because it would be odd to have identiical items with different prices. But if the items can vary a bit, then you would not necessarily want all of them to be repriced identically.
Type SKU and click OK to change just this one Sku of the several of the same style, or type ALL and click OK to change the price of all of the Sku's of this same style
On the Activity page of Inventory Status
choose the Adjustments option to see such price changes (along with other adjustments such as quantity adjustments.)
