Almost any computer you purchase right now will have Windows 11 which is fine.
If you have an older computer with Windows 10 that will run Shopkeeper fine too. However, you'll need the extended support option for that from Microsoft because otherwise it will not get security updates.
It is preferred that you have a 'Professional' version of Windows compared to the Home version.

Any computer from the last couple of years with an Intel I5 or I7 or AMD Ryzen family processor, 16 Gigabytes of RAM and at least a 500 Gigabyte electronic SSD storage drive will be more than sufficient.
Make sure the computer has a wired Ethernet network connection port - not just Wi-Fi.
