If your Hewlett Packard LaserJet printer is printing the compressed

font with a relatively faint font, you may be able to darken it

by choosing PRINTER CONTROL CODES (option 8,A from the Main Menu),

Then select printer number 5 (or another printer number if you know

you use a different number.) Select "Compressed" and replace the code with:

 

027,040,115,112,056,046,053,118,048,084,027,038,107,050,115,055,072

 

 

(This was tested with an HP 2100 LaserJet but may work for other HP's)
