Thank you for stopping by

COMPULINK at BOOTH F-97

Enclosed is a Demonstration Diskette which will take you on a guided tour of The Jewelry Shopkeeper software system. You can run this on any PC-compatible computer running DOS, Windows 3 or Windows 95.

While this demo is very informative, we highly recommend that you return to our booth for a live demonstration so we can discuss your particular computing needs and explain how The Jewelry Shopkeeper will work in your own business. Since you want to use your computer system for many years, isn’t it worth taking a closer in-person look at this trade show? Available at the booth when you get a personal demonstration is an in-depth brochure containing an extensive sampling of reports, checks, receipts and statements produced by The Jewelry Shopkeeper. A list of hardware requirements and a list of recent improvements is also available.

You may see some other jewelry software at this trade show, but only The Jewelry Shopkeeper has been developed by software professionals especially for independent jewelers for the past eleven years. At $2,295, The Jewelry Shopkeeper has more power than the $20,000 systems and is much easier for running your day-to-day business activity. As for the cheap programs, they are difficult to use, are very unstable with Windows 95, have limited support and are simply way too slow to type in sales if you have more than 1,000 inventory items or sales — they are not realistic for point of sale use. You don’t want to waste your time with inadequate software.

This message has been written on the new Laser Repair Envelope that The Jewelry Shopkeeper can print using either a laser printer or an ink-jet printer. (Note that you don’t have to print the job picture). When you print one from the program the left two stubs feature a customer copy and a file copy of the job and the right-hand part is the actual envelope for the job. Note that there are many other styles of repair envelopes or repair tickets that The Jewelry Shopkeeper can print, not just this laser envelope.
