To update the progress on a repair, you can choose Edit Sales from the Sales Menu. Bring the sale up on the screen, then select the correct item by pressing the <↑> key then press <Page Up> to select the repair detail. If you are not accepting payments, you can also update repairs from Edit Custom Work / Repairs from the Custom Work And Repairs menu, which can be a bit quicker.
When the customer picks up the repair and pays for it, it is important that you update the repair detail as described in the previous paragraphs and fill in the pickup date and the initials of the person who picked up the repair. If you don’t type in the pickup date, the program will continue to record the repair as on the premises waiting for pickup.
