5.Make an Estimate

To estimate the price of the job, choose Make An Estimate. The following screen will appear:

Type the estimate of the number of hours needed to complete each task. If the task if not part of the job, leave the hours at zero.

 

WAX:Number of hours to work with wax.

 

 

CST:Number of hours to work with casting.

 

 

GEN:Number of hours to work with general jewelry.

 

 

MLD:Number of hours to work with the molding.

 

 

SET:Number of hours to work with the setting.

 

There are two blank lines where you can type other descriptions and costs, such as outside service sub-contractors.

 

METALS*} Type in the total estimated dollar amount of metals used for this custom work. You can type a note on the type of metal in the space to the right of the cost. As you type, the line moves to the left to allow more room for entry. You can enter up to forty characters.

 

STONES*} Type in the total estimated dollar amount of stones. You can type a note on the type of stone in the space to the right of the cost. As you type, the line moves to the left to allow more room for entry. You can enter up to forty characters.

 

FINDINGS*} Type in the total estimated dollar amount of findings. You can type a note on the type of finding in the space to the right of the cost. As you type, the line moves to the left to allow more room for entry. You can enter up to forty characters.
