4. X Report from Current Year

To see partial X–Report information from earlier in the year, choose X-Report From Current File from the menu.

 

Because the X–report was designed for use only for the current day, you generally cannot reconcile the X–Report From Current File to any other reports.

 

If you want to see sales information from previous dates, it is best to use the Daily Posting and Sales Tax Report.

 

If you choose this option the following message will appear:

 

 

Enter the date range that you want to report: 12/31/99  TO  12/31/99

 

 

 

Type the date or date range of the X–Report you want to see. After the dates are entered, you will be asked to confirm them. When the date is confirmed, the following screen will appear:

 

 

Type X to process the X-Report:        

 

 

 

Before the X–Report will print, it must be processed. Type an X to process the X–Report.

 

When the report has been processed, the following message will appear:

 

 

            Do you want to Display or Print the report?  <Esc>=Quit

 

 

 

Type a <D> to display the report to the screen, or <P> to print the report on the printer.

 

The X–Report will begin. When the report has finished, the following message will appear:

 

 

     Do you want to Display or Print the Cash Detail Report?   <Esc>=Quit

 

 

 

Type a <D> to display the cash detail report on the screen, or <P> to print the report on the printer.

 

When the report has finished, you will be asked if you want to see additional copies of the report. Press <Y> to see the report again, or <N> to return to the menu.
