When you have entered all items, leave the STYLE field blank and press <Enter>. A message will appear:

Do you want to enter any more items? Yes No  <Esc>=Quit

Type <Y> to enter more items, or <N> to end entry of items.

Next you will be allowed to break down the invoice total into different account codes to indicate the different accounting and expense categories. Usually this step is already done for you because the program finds the main Expense Code by looking at the vendor screen. If amounts are entered in FREIGHT or ADDITIONAL TAXES fields, the amounts will be assigned the appropriate default expense codes. These expenses can be entered in the Set Default Account Numbers screen. For a more detailed explanation of breaking down an expense or a transaction into different accounts, see the appendix.

Here you can type in a summary description of what the invoice was for. The first line of the summary will appear on the bottom of the check when the invoice is paid for.

The following message will then appear:

Do you want to Print Tags now? Yes No  <Esc>=Quit

To print tags, press <Y> and refer to the Print Tags for an Invoice chapter later in this section.

If you press <N>, the first screen will appear to let you enter another invoice. Press <Esc> to return to the menu, or repeat this procedure from step 1 to record the receipt of more items.
