Turn on the computer. Log to the drive where you want to install the software, and change to the root directory.
If you are not sure how to do this, wait until the computer is fully turned on and your DOS prompt (C: or D: or F:, etc.) appears, then type CD\ and press <Enter>.
If Windows 3.x is running, either exit Windows by choosing File, Exit at the Program Manager or double-click on the MS-DOS PROMPT icon. If Windows 95 is running, click on the Start button then Programs then MS-DOS PROMPT.
Do not create a directory for the software. The installation process will automatically create a directory especially for the software and will install the software in that directory.
