RESTORING JEWELRY SHOPKEEPER DATA FROM USB DRIVES

-------------------------------------------------

Restoring data effectively deletes and replaces Shop-pro data on your

computer. So you should restore data only when clearly needed. Either

to replace damaged data or to restore current data to your home computer.

Note that this command will only work if you backed up to a USB disk using

option 3 from Compulink's black and white "Command Menu."

Drive G: is used as an example below - change this to the right letter for

your USB drive

*) Insert your USB drive

*) Go to the black and white "COMMAND MENU". (From the Windows Desktop,

Double-Click the JS-MENU icon) This is the menu with the prompt ENTER YOUR

CHOICE-> at the bottom. From the ENTER YOUR CHOICE-> prompt, type:

PKUNZIP  -o   G:DATA   DATA.JS

(the -o is a dash and a lower-case letter O)

The restore program might ask you to insert the last disk or the

first disk etc. If prompted, just press Enter

Note: If you're not sure what drive letter your USB drive is attached

to, open My Computer and look for the removable drive. When you open

that up - if it's the correct drive it will contain the file/folder called

DATA or DATA.ZIP
