Note that for laser printers and inkjet printer the basic
check layout is stub-check-stub. However, you cannot just use
any-old check layout even if it looks vaguely similar. You do need to
get the right format to make sure the checks are printed correctly.
Consider getting the check numbers pre-printed. That makes it easier
for you to stop a certain check number and makes is more likely that
your check number will print on the bank statements.
