Saving E-Mail Attachments With AOL Version 7

============================================

General Comments.

-----------------

> Attachments are small programs that are attached to a regular email.

> These instructions apply to AOL Version 7 but are likely to be very

similar in other AOL versions.

> Do NOT "Open" or "Run" e-mail attachments from Compulink. Instead save

them to the location specified in the body of the readable portion of

the e-mail message.

> AOL handles attachments differently depending on whether an e-mail

message has just one attachment or more than one. If the filename of the

attachment file ends in ".ZIP" use the second set of instructions

"Saving Multiple Attachments". Otherwise follow the first set of

instructions: "Saving a Single Attachment File."

Saving a Single Attachment File in AOL

--------------------------------------

*)   Open the Email message and read any instructions from Compulink

*)   Choose Save to Filing Cabinet.

*)   Choose Incoming/Saved Mail.

*)   Choose Yes to download the attachment.

*)   Choose Yes to confirm you want to save the file because you know

        the sender (Compulink.)

*)   The Download Manager window appears.

Pick one of these two options: (xyz.zip will be replaced by the

        actual name of the attachment)

   a) Change the filename to c:\complink.js\pro\xyz.fxp

   b) Leave the filename as xzy.fxp, but change the SAVE IN option at

the top of the Download Manager window by navigating to the

PRO folder in the COMPLINK.JS folder on the right drive where

        Shop-Pro is installed.

*)   Click Save.

*)   Choose Yes to replace the existing file (in most but not all cases

you are replacing an existing file.)

*)   The file will download and you will be asked if you want to locate

        the file - choose No
